The Seasides on the Island

Kakeroma Island is known as one of the islands with the highest sea transparency among the Oshima islands.

Let’s make lovely memories by
meeting the tropical fishes, corals, sea turtles
and various kinds of marine creatures.

You can enjoy snorkeling in the shallows of the sea near the beaches,
and experience feeding the fishes.
The exclusive diving qualified and licensed tour conductors will gently give a lecture
so that any beginners can enjoy snorkeling.

The lives on the Island

On Kakeroma island, there remains the original scenery of Amami Oshima Island.

Kakeroma island, which is separated from Amami Oshima by the Oshima Strait, has untouched nature,
in addition, the lives of the islanders are very idyllic.

and the roadsides with flowers,
lopp the fences.

This is good to the followings: those who apply for the tour but can not swim on the day because they do not feel well,
those who drank too much of brown sugar Shochu and would not like to swim,
those who care about suntan lines, those who have to keep an eye on their children,
and those who would like to relax looking at the ocean rather than swimming.

There is a “SeaSide Cottage” of the Slow Guide Amami Tour” near the seaside for snorkeling.
It is fully equipped with toilets, hot showers, air conditioning, refrigerators and a terrace.

You are welcome to take a nap sitting on the beach chairs
under the shadows of the trees,

to read the books over a cup of tea,
to view the ocean from the terrace absent-mindedly,

or to fully enjoy yourselves while snorkelling.

Snorkeling is held just in front of the sea cottage.
You will be able to enjoy it safely and watch over your family, children and friends swimming.

have two true islander staff
to show some of the ways to spend the time on Kakeroma Island.
